If you would like to keep active and at the same time help your Council on Aging and other community groups, please consider becoming a volunteer.
The Council on Aging has several volunteer opportunities for those looking for the enrichment found by helping others including: Ambassador, Phone Reception, Gardening, Friendly Visitor, Fitness Center Monitor, Class Leader, Computer Instructor, Meal Server, Crafts Instructor, TRIAD Council (a program protecting senior citizens against crime), Cable TV Production Crew, Newsletter Editor, Filing/Updating/Data Entry, Custodial Help indoors/outdoors, Help with Special Lunches, Host/Hostess for Special Events, Decorating Coordinator.
All volunteers are subject to a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) background check. Contact the COA Volunteer Coordinator at 781-631-6225 for more information or complete the Volunteer Application
